AnaMary Bilbao (Lisbon, 1986) studied Painting and Cinema / Moving image at Ar.Co and is a PhD student in Artistic Studies – Art and Mediations (FCSH – Universidade Nova de Lisboa and Birkbeck – University of London) with an FCT scholarship.
In 2014, Bilbao was distinguished in the category of Visual Arts by CPAI – Clube Português de Artes e Ideias.
Bilbao presented the solo shows O último brilho da estrela que morre at UMA LULIK__ (2018); Fallacious Memory at Caroline Pagès Gallery (2014) and Presente passado at Boavista Gallery (2013).

AnaMary Bilbao is nominated to the 13th Edition of EDP Foundation’s New Artists Award 2019.
